Brno – pronounced (“Br-no”) – is Czech Republic’s second largest city. Never heard of it? Well, this is just another good example for a country that is dominated by a big capital while other cities are hardly on a traveler’s map. After my rather sensory-overloaded post about Tunis, I’m sharing something on the quieter, more winter-ish side this time: We’re experiencing a rather harsh winter this year and not often you get the opportunity to walk or ice-skate on a natural frozen lake.
