After temple-hopping and jungle-zipping it was time for sea and sand! Our trip from Chiang Mai to Koh Lanta involved a plane, bus, boat and tuk-tuk ride until we arrived at our hotel. But no need to worry, there was plenty of time to recover from the strenuous journey: Contrary to its much busier neighbour Phuket, the beaches weren’t as commercialized and still kept a hippie vibe, although the local population is mainly Muslim.…
