As we were driving further south, the idyllic beach settlements turned more into city scenery with lots of high-rise buildings and a vibrant atmosphere full of shopping, beach and entertainment possibilities – we arrived in Miami Beach! After some days of acclimatisation in NYC I was very much looking forward to the beach, which was planned for a week in Florida.
